Famous Photographers in Arles
Last friday I went to Arles old and famous photo festival. I just wanted to meet some friends and colleagues but by the way I droped into Wolfgang Zurborn and he told me from his book signing at Schadens bookstore in the espace Van Goch.
This was a quite unique book signing. Maybe twelve photographers on two tables from Renè Burri to Rainer Riedler. All signing books in a row. Talking and laughing with each others. The "star" in this illustrious table was Rene Burri. This charming old men drawed on his books, spoke at least five languages and flirted with all human beeings close to him.
Even Martin Parr payed his tribute to him and got a signed copy of his new book. In the end I spended three hours on this place and just had a lot of fun observing. I got my own signed copy two, well my children got it.
